Veterinary Formula Flea & Tick Spray for Dogs was developed to eliminate flea and tick pests without compromising the health, safety, and comfort of your dog. This spray kills fleas and ticks on contact and can be applied directly to your dog's coat or used on resting areas such as bedding, blankets, crates, and other surfaces where fleas may be present, following label directions.

This product is not a monthly flea and tick preventative. It is intended to treat existing flea and tick infestations and can be used as an additional layer of protection alongside a veterinarian-recommended long-term flea and tick preventative.

• Working from the tail, spray the entire coat of your dog
• Spray the animal with the spray nozzle about 8-12 inches from the pet, covering legs, tail, and underbody
• Using gloved hands, fluff hair against the way it normally lays to ensure the spray reaches the skin
  
• Do not saturate the animal and do not spray in the face, eyes, or on genitals
• Repeat as required, but not more often than once every 14 days (2 weeks)
• For dog resting areas: treat bedding and other resting places, as these are primary hiding areas for fleas and ticks; no need to remove bedding after treatment
• To reduce infestation, spray around sleeping areas, baseboards, window and door frames, wall cracks, floor areas, and other resting places until the surface is slightly moist
• Also spray the entire inside surface of dog houses and kennels
• Do not allow pets to use treated areas until completely dry
• For best results, to protect your dog against and minimize reintroduction of adult fleas from outdoors, at least 14 days after direct application, reuse this product or another EPA registered flea and tick product, collar, powder, spray, dip, or shampoo

• Do not use on cats or kittens
• Keep cats away from treated areas and treated dogs for 24 hours; if applied to a cat or ingested by a cat, contact your veterinarian immediately
• For indoor use only
• Do not apply this product in a way that will contact children or adults, either directly or through drift
• Do not allow children or adults to enter until sprays have dried
• Do not use treated article until spray has dried

• Do not use on cats or kittens
• Use only on adult dogs
• Do not apply to puppies under 6 months of age or weighing less than 5 lbs
• Consult a veterinarian before applying this product on medicated, debilitated, aged, pregnant, or nursing dogs
• Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets
• If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your dog with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water
• If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately

Store in a cool, dry area. Always store pesticides in the original container. Store away from food and pet food.

How should I apply this flea and tick spray?
Start at your dog's tail, making sure to spray their entire coat, including legs, tail, and underbody.

Is this spray safe if my dog licks or scratches its coat?
As the product dries, avoid letting your dog lick or scratch the treated area. Once the spray has dried completely, your dog can return to normal activities without concern.

How long after application should I wait before bathing?
We recommend waiting at least one week after spraying this flea and tick prevention for dogs before bathing them.

Can this spray be used to treat bedding as well as my dog?
This spray can be used to treat fleas and ticks on dog bedding and other pet resting areas. Do not allow pets to use treated areas until completely dry.
