Active Ingredients: Pyrethrins 0.150%, Piperonyl Butoxide 0.300%, N-Octyl Bicycloheptene Dicarboximide 0.479%, Other Ingredients 99.071%, 100.000%. MGK 264 Insecticide Synergist. Equivalent to (butylcarbityl) (6-propylpiperonyl) ether and related compounds.

• Use only on horses, ferrets, dogs, and cats over the age of 12 weeks
• Wet the animal's coat for 2-3 minutes with warm water
• Apply shampoo on head and ears and lather, then repeat the procedure on neck, chest, and middle and hindquarters, finishing last and paying special attention to the footpads (between the toes) and underbody areas
• Wash the head and ear areas carefully, making sure to keep the shampoo out of the animal's eyes
• A drop of glycerin in each eye before bathing may help reduce irritation if the shampoo gets in the animal's eyes
• Pay special attention to the base of the tail, as it is a place frequented by fleas
• Fully lather the animal and let the lather remain on the animal for 5 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with water
• For small dogs and cats less than 15 pounds, wrapping the animal in a towel for several minutes to absorb moisture is advised; this will also allow dying fleas and ticks to crawl off the animal into the towel before drying the animal with a towel or blow dryer
• Flea and tick control on the animal is only part of the solution; the inside of the house and outdoor areas used by the animal must also be treated for complete control
• Do not repeat treatment for 7 days

• Do not use on puppies or kittens under 12 weeks of age
• Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant, or nursing animals
• Sensitivities may occur using any pesticide product for pets; if signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water; if signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately

Does this shampoo prevent future fleas and ticks after use?
This shampoo is intended to kill fleas and ticks on contact. It does not have residual effects. After shampooing your pet, use Veterinary Formula Flea & Tick Spray, which helps control pests for up to 14 days on your pet and up to 14 weeks on surfaces.

Does this shampoo kill and/or protect against mites?
This shampoo kills fleas and ticks, but does not kill or protect against mites.

Can I put a flea collar on my pet after bathing them with this shampoo?
We recommend waiting one week after using this flea shampoo for dogs before using a flea collar or topical treatment.

Do I need to use gloves when I apply this shampoo to my pet?
We recommend wearing rubber gloves when applying this flea and tick shampoo and avoiding open wounds on your pet.
