Purina Pro Plan Original Kitten Optistart - Rich in Chicken is a complete diet for kittens (1-12 months) and pregnant or nursing cats. In the first year of its life, your kitten develops its natural protection system, which will be responsible for its health for the rest of its life. The immune system is the foundation of this protection. Your kitten builds a complex defence system that protects its whole body. It offers protection for the digestive system, skin and coat, and urinary system. Young cats require a balanced supply of nutrients in the first year to guarantee optimal defence system development - and Purina Pro Plan Original Kitten Optistart - Rich in Chicken can provide your kitten with all of the essential nutrients to help it grow and develop properly and enjoy a long, healthy life.

Veterinarians and scientists from Purina created Pro Plan Original Kitten Optistart - Rich in Chicken - with natural ingredients such as colostrum (ingredient in mother cats' milk), vitamin E, omega-3 & -6 fatty acids and essential additives such as zinc in optimal ratios, to support kittens' developing defence systems. Natural antibodies from colostrum support the balance of beneficial and potentially harmful intestinal bacteria and aid the digestive system in its developmental phase.
