Walking Your Dog
Attach the leash to your dog's collar or harness and allow the retractable cord to extend and retract automatically as your dog moves. The cord remains under tension, helping prevent slack and dirt buildup.
Leading the Dog
Lock the brake and attach the included safety loop to the collar or harness as instructed by Flexi. The safety loop provides additional protection should the collar or harness fail.
Free Run
Always hold the leash by the handle grip. As long as the brake is not engaged, the cord will extend and retract smoothly with your dog's movement.
Stopping
Press the brake button with your thumb whenever you need to stop your dog or limit movement. Release the button to allow the cord to move freely again.
Retracting
To bring your dog closer, press the brake button, move toward your dog, then release the brake to allow the cord to retract. Repeat as needed until your dog reaches the desired distance.
Heeling
Bring your dog close to your side, press the brake button, and engage the brake lock to maintain a shorter leash length during training or busy situations.
