No trainer? No problem! 7 Amazing Youtube Dog Training Channels
"Do you know a cheap, fast and good dog trainer?" We hear this a lot. It is a common question and there is a simple answer to it: No. Please, let's think about this for a second: What is a good, fast and cheap dog trainer? Someone who makes your dog sit,lie down, stay, heel and come as fast as possible? First you might think, YES, absolutely! The thing is, that everything comes with a price and in this case it's likely your dogs mental health.
Regardless of what your friends cousins neighbor said or whomever else, you don't have to put your pet dog for two months into a "training school" to be electrocuted, choked and rough-handled into obedience. Despite the big chance that you will get back a disturbed, fearful and apathetic dog, it also is not that cheap for getting such depressing results.
What if we told you that you don't need any trainer to teach your dog obedience. If you don't have the budget to hire a decent & positive ( why positive?) trainer who trains mainly YOU how to train your dog, don't worry: there are some amazing youtube channels to guide you! It's not a big deal, thousands of people worldwide successfully train their dogs themselves. You will not only learn how to train your dog but also build a strong bond between the two of you. And this knowledge you acquire will stay with you and be useful for all dogs you will ever have. No school can do that for you.
The "bad" news is, that you have to be patient and invest time in training your dog. But it will be worth it. You will be proud of your accomplishments.
